Viridian was involved in the design of new Heating and comfort cooling installations within this Grade I Listed building.
The chosen solution was the installation of heat pump heating and comfort cooling, with solar thermal panels provided for the provision of domestic hot water.
Viridian was involved with the refurbishment of Open Store and Conference Areas of this Grade II listed building.
Services include temperature and humidity control within the open store areas to help preserve fabrics.
This project involved the replacement of the Mechanical and Electrical services installations within this Grade II listed building.
Facilities include multi-use spaces, where services provision has been installed in order to provide flexibility of use.
For this project, Viridian surveyed and reported on the existing services installations and their suitability for re-use. We also undertook a feasibility for the installation of low and zero carbon technologies, including Combined Heat and Power.
This project saw a complete refurbishment and re-modelling of the Grade II Listed Andrew Carnegie Library which has been sympathetically restored and returned to public use as a multi-functional community hub.
Viridian completed the design of the Mechanical and Electrical installations to ensure the historical features of the building were not only enhanced but preserved for generations to come.
